How do I upload images to the site?
Click on the "My Galleries" link at the top right menu beside the login info. Enter a name for your gallery and click "Create New". Click "Upload Images" and a pop up window appears. Click "Select Images" button and locate the photos on your computer and select them. A list of your photos display with a progress bar for each photo. A download complete window pops up, select "ok". Click "Refresh" in your new gallery box and your new photos are visable. You can add more photos to an existing gallery by clicking "Upload Images" and repeating the process.
Your new photos are now available to use in all your projects. Just select "Galleries" at the bottom of the editor and all your galleries appear. Select the gallery you want and all the pictures in the gallery are displayed. Just drag your photo onto your project and start creating!

Can I share my projects?
Yes, you can share projects with friends by inviting people via email to view them. Simply choose the email icon below the project on your "My Account" page and send them an email. The invitee will be required to click on an email link. They will then be able to register and view your projects.
If the invitee is already registered on the site, they merely have to use their existing login and password once invited to gain access.

Can invitees share my projects with others?
No, only the creator of the project has the right to share them.

Do I have to register?
You are required to register to save your projects. Products will be temporarily saved while browsing through the site but will not be permanently saved until you register. So don't lose your projects and register right away. Once you are registered you can come back and edit later or add projects to your cart.

How many images can I upload?
The upload system limits you to uploading no more than 50 images at a time. Though there are no limits to how many images you can have in your account or how many galleries you may have.

Is there a maximum image size?
The current size limit for images is 8 MB. This is more than sufficient to create all our products in their highest quality. Images should be 300 dpi which would be on the high quality setting on cameras. Low resolution pictures will not produce high quality images on your projects and you will receive a warning in your project. We recommend always setting your camera to the highest quality for all your pictures so when you take that "amazing shot" you can do a lot of amazing projects with it.

Why is it taking time to upload?
The upload time for your images varies greatly and is most dependent on your Internet Service Providers (ISP) upload speeds. Remember many ISP's have a much slower upload speed than download speed. Our image servers support uploads up to 100/mb/sec which in most cases is more than 500 times the speed of an internet connection to guarantee the fastest uploads to all users.
Typically it can take +/- 1min per 1mb of upload on slower lines.

Uploading tips:
Try and avoid uploading large images over 5mb as these are unessessary unless you are making large format prints. Minimize the browser window and work on something else while files are uploading. Organize your images into galleries or folders before upload, this will help save time searching for images online after. If the upload stops due to an intermittent internet connection, take note of what image was uploading in the dialog box, click X (cancel) and restart the upload process from that image.

How do I make a book?
1. Select Photo Books Tab on the home page.
2. Select a book style and cover.
3. Select the book size.
4. Browse through the categories of books and click the “Get Started” button.
5. Choose one of the pre-designed books and view the description and sample of backgrounds and clipart in the book.
6. Click Create My Product to start creating.
7. You are now in the book editor, wait a few seconds and the pre-designed book with backgrounds and clipart will appear.
8. If you haven’t already uploaded your pictures, select “upload” at the bottom of the page.
9. A popup will open, click on “Select Images…”
10. Choose images from your computer and select “Open”.
11. A bar will appear for each image showing the progress of the upload.
12. A popup will appear showing “Upload Complete”, click ok.
13. Your new gallery will appear at the bottom of the page on the “Images” tab with the upload date.
14. Click on the gallery and all of your photos will appear.
15. Autofill is located beside your first image. Selecting Autofill will automatically populate all the images in your book with the photos in your gallery.
16. If you prefer not to use Autofill, just select one of your photos and drag it to one of the photo placeholders (grey boxes with “Place Image Here!”).
17. Click the next page symbol > to go to the next page and continue adding your photos.
18. You can save your book at any time by clicking the “Save” button located at the lower right corner of the page.
19. Below the “Save” button is the “rearrange” button that allows you to change the order of your pages.
20. Beside the “Rearrange” button is the “- remove” button that allows you to remove a page. The minimum pages in the books are 20.
21. Beside the “- remove” button is the “+ add” button that will add pages to your book. Randomly designed pages will be added to the book two pages at a time. If you do not like the page you can create your own with the backgrounds, page layouts and clipart tabs. You can also rearrange it or delete it the new page and add another one.
22. On the right of the page are the “tools” for editing your book: add image, add text, zoom in, zoom out, undo, redo, and preview to see the progress of your book.
23. The right side of the page is the “inspector” which are additional tools such as Rotation (rotate photos), Opacity (reduce or increase the transparency of the photo), Layer (adjusting which image or clipart is on top of the other), Border (adding a border to an image), Border Color (changing the color of the border around a picture), Cropping (enlarge or reduce the image inside the photo placeholder or border), and Rotate image (flips the image around).
24. Click the “save” button or the “order” button to move your product to the cart.
25. The product will be saved to your “Account” and placed in the cart. Click on your project in the cart to open it and make any additional changes. You can also edit your project from the “My Account” link in the upper right corner of any page.

Do I have to register?
You are required to register to save your projects. Products will be temporarily saved while browsing through the site but will not be permanently saved until you register. How do I add or choose images for my books?
You can either upload your new images or use previously uploaded images already on the site. While in the book editor, select upload. Each upload will create a new gallery. Outside the editor, go to the gallery page by clicking the "My Galleries" link at the top right of the page. Create a new gallery and upload pictures. You can also rename your galleries.
All images you want to use in your products must be added to your gallery. You can add photos while in the editor or on the gallery page. Your gallery is a selection of your favorite photos for use in your photo products.

Can I save a design and come back later?
Yes, once logged in you will see a link in the upper right menu “My Account”. This will open all of your previous projects with the most recent listed first. This is also where you can share projects with friends and family.
All images in your galleries are saved but you must be logged in to have access to them. The gallery link is located next to the "My Account" link in the upper right menu, "My Galleries".
